Friday Night - Meet and Greet/ No-Host Bar

Two options:

Option 1
Particularly for the out-of towners, come and meet at the St. John Bosco Courtyard, where the school will be wrapping up its Annual Alumni Golf Tourney on July 17th.  No-host drinks are available to all SJB/ St. Joseph's guests, beginning at 5:30 PM through 10:30PM, at a modest charge of $10.00, and you are welcome to mingle with other SJB alumni if you like.  A separate area on the courtyard will be set up just for the Class of 1969 Reunion.   Or if you're really hungry, dinner is also available at 6:30 PM, by calling Paul Kaminski, Director/ Advancement at St. John Bosco, in advance.  Paul Kaminski's number is 562.920.1734, extension 240.  'Hope to see you all there."

 

Option 2

Embassy Suites Bar, 8425 Firestone Blvd, Downey, CA. 90241, 7:00pm until ?  You are welcome to drop by and see who is there and visit, have a drink and get the weekend off to a good start. 

 

Pick one or both to attend, the choice is yours. 

 
Saturday, July 18, 2009 (time 6pm)

  Return to St. Joseph's patio, the site of the Sadie Hawkins Dance, the Computer Match Dance and many others for a buffet dinner with the music we grew up to.
This is a casual dinner/gathering.  Feel free to come as dressed up or down as you like.  After all it is summertime in Southern California and we are liking the casual atmosphere.

For those still in the mood to mingle, there is a bar-b-q at Bosco on Sunday. Horseshoes, bacci, and maybe a little "touch football" will highlight a casual time to wind up the weekend and make plans for future meetings. 
We are arranging to have a Mass at St. John Bosco Chapel on Sunday morning at 11 am for those who wish to attend.  The BBQ will follow at noonish.

A single charge of $69 per person covers all the weekend's events.
